Workshop Description

  • The purpose of this hand-on workshop is to develop a basic understanding of the capabilities of ETAP for short circuit analysis, load flow, protective device evaluation, coordination/selectivity, arc flash analysis, motor acceleration, harmonics and transient stability from modeling to analysis.
  • This workshop provides the skills, knowledge, and techniques necessary to become proficient in ETAP to solve a variety of practical problems in your industrial and meet electrical design projects deliverables.
  • It begins with the basics of one-line diagram creation, data entry, and quickly expands the users’ knowledge to include methods to automatically perform multiple ‘what if’ studies using multiple scenarios.
  • Each participant is provided a computer with ETAP software loaded for use during the class time. Training will be conducted by ETAP instructor with practical experience.
 
  • Windows 10 Computer (i5+ CPU)
  • Reliable Internet access so attendees can connect to the ETAP License server during the workshop
  • Dual monitors are highly recommended.

This training is eligible for PE Points under Singapore PE Board.

Who should attend

  • Engineers that have an electrical background, but haven’t taken formal ETAP training before.
  • Knowledge of power system engineering concepts is highly recommended for those attending this workshop.
